At TrueMed diagnostics and clinic, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines how appointment cancellations and rescheduling are handled to ensure smooth operations and fairness for all patients.

1. Rescheduling Appointments

You may reschedule your appointment under the following conditions:

• Rescheduling is allowed up to 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
• If the doctor is unavailable due to an emergency, we will inform you and help reschedule at the earliest available slot.
• No additional charges apply for timely rescheduling.

2. Cancelling Appointments

Appointment cancellations may be made under the following rules:

• Cancellations made at least 2 hours before the appointment may qualify for a refund (if prepaid).
• Cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment time may not be eligible for a refund.
• Repeated no-shows may result in restricted booking privileges.

3. Lab Test & Diagnostic Cancellations

• Once a lab sample is collected, the test cannot be cancelled or refunded.
• If the sample is not yet collected, cancellation may be allowed at TrueMed’s discretion.
• Certain specialised tests may be strictly non-cancellable due to reagent procurement and processing costs.

4. Refunds (If Applicable)

• Refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
• Refund processing may take 5–7 working days, depending on the payment gateway/bank.
• Convenience or payment gateway fees (if charged) may be non-refundable.

5. Clinic-Initiated Cancellations

TrueMed may cancel or reschedule appointments in cases such as:

• Doctor emergencies or unavailability
• Technical or operational issues
• Public health or safety requirements

In such cases, we will notify you promptly and offer a suitable alternative slot or refund (if applicable).

6. No-Show Policy

• If a patient does not attend the appointment without cancelling, it is considered a No-Show.
• No-shows are generally not eligible for refunds.
• Repeated no-shows may lead to restrictions on future bookings.

7. Home Sample Collection

• Rescheduling is allowed up to 4 hours before the scheduled time.
• If the phlebotomist arrives at the location and the patient is unavailable, the visit may be marked as a no-show.
• Revisits may incur additional charges.

8. How to Cancel or Reschedule

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment through:

• Your TrueMed online patient account
• The TrueMed mobile app (if applicable)
• Calling our clinic directly
• WhatsApp support (if enabled)

This policy is designed to ensure fair and efficient service delivery for all patients. TrueMed reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
